Dr. Martorano is a visionary board-certified informatician and psychiatrist with a distinguished career in management and clinical care. After completing his medical training at Columbia University and his residency in psychiatry at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute, Dr. Martorano has dedicated over a decade to advancing clinical services and medical leadership.
His expertise spans psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and addiction treatment. He has honed his skills at prestigious institutions such as UCLA’s Addiction Medicine Clinic, Mood Disorders Clinic, Anxiety Disorders Clinic, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy Clinic. His research background includes groundbreaking work in reproductive neuroendocrinology at the Rockefeller Institute and contributions to electrophysiology and alternative medicine literature.
Dr. Martorano’s leadership roles are extensive, including board positions at Intrvene, LLC, Calibrated Legal Informatics, and the Wyoming Behavioral Institute, where he currently serves as Chief Medical Officer. He also advises Perfectshift and frequently consults with leadership at UHS, Inc.
In 2004, he founded a private practice focused on comprehensive outpatient solutions for substance abuse, consulting for prominent residential treatment centers in Southern California. He has taught psychotherapy to psychiatry residents and currently precepts medical students from the University of Washington, where he holds a clinical faculty position. Renowned for his ability to integrate psychotherapy with rational psychopharmacology, Dr. Martorano attracts patients from across the country.
Beyond his medical career, Dr. Martorano is a seasoned entertainer and lecturer, having hosted syndicated radio shows, made numerous television appearances, and performed over three hundred musical performances on three continents.
